Marry your best friend. I do not say that lightly. Really, truly find the strongest, happiest friendship in the person you fall in love with. Someone who speaks highly of you. Someone you can laugh with. The kind of laughs that make your belly ache, and your nose snort. The embarrassing, earnest, healing kind of laughs. Wit is important. Life is too short not to love someone who lets you be a fool with them. Make sure they are somebody who lets you cry, too. Despair will come. Find someone that you want to be there with you through those times. Most importantly, marry the one that makes passion, love, and madness combine and course through you. A love that will never dilute – even when the waters get deep, and dark.

It is an impossibility to convey the scope and awe seen and experienced on my journey through life. If I were to be honest in any attempt to portray in words my adventure, it would be to tell you the reader, to get up at once and act in ways you fear most. While you may feel sickness in your gut, it is here that life begins. Just over the cliff of fear is your freedom. If you wish to unshackle unbind your soul from your own prison, then act even though you fear. Make the jump. Courage is not the absence of fear, but acting despite it. I say to you who despair, live at once for the hour of death soon approaches.

As of now, the earth is not yet swallowed up by hatred and greed. Humankind must transform to fit itself, once again, in the bed of Procrustes. I hope, this time, we have a generation that has no need for a war or a great depression to change. That this once, the force is not oppression from the outside but a liberation from the inside. A generation that changes because we want to, because we finally listen to our own heart and the hearts of others. Where we finally understand it is our moral responsibility to care about our inner but also our outer environment.

Human beings must have challenge! That is understood by any thinking person, and we know the best challenge is the one which is the most natural. If men do not have such challenge, they find it in unnatural ways–perhaps in a fierce competition for power or money, perhaps in internal struggles that tear a society apart, perhaps in external struggles that become bloody wars. We know all this, you see; and so we have deliberately offered to our people– particularly the young–the challenge of the North, which is a challenge of nature. They have responded with enthusiasm. It is not good to give people security of body alone… we must also make a valid and good purpose for life. Those who go North find such a purpose.

Los Seres Humanos deben tener desafío! Eso es entendido por cualquier persona que piense, y sabemos que el mejor desafío es el que es mas natural. Si los hombres no tienen tal desafío, lo encuentran en formas no naturales– Quizás en una feroz competición por poder o dinero, quizás en luchas internas que destrozan la sociedad, quizás en luchas externas que se convierten en guerras sangrientas. Sabemos todo esto, ves; así que deliberadamente le ofrecimos a nuestra gente-particularmente los jóvenes- el desafío del Norte, que es un desafío de la naturaleza. Han respondido con entusiasmo. No es bueno otorgarle a la gente solo seguridad de cuerpo…debemos también otorgarles un buen y valido propósito de vida. Aquellos que van al Norte encuentran dicho propósito.

Arriesgar es arriesgarse a quedar como un tonto. Llorar es arriesgarse a quedar como un sentimental. Exponer sentimientos es arriesgar a exponer nuestro verdadero ser.
