Love is Light

“By night, Love, tie your heart to mine, and the two
together in their sleep will defeat the darkness

-Pablo Neruda

No Place I’d Rather Be

We’re a thousand miles from comfort, we have traveled land and sea
But as long as you are with me, there’s no place I’d rather be
I would wait forever, exalted in the scene
As long as I am with you, my heart continues to beat…

We staked out on a mission to find our inner peace
Make it everlasting so nothing’s incomplete
It’s easy being with you, sacred simplicity
As long as we’re together, there’s no place I’d rather be..

Persist and Persevere

Joy of meeting sorrow of separation

The joy of meeting and the sorrow of separation … we should welcome these gifts … with our whole soul, and experience to the full, and with the same gratitude, all the sweetness or bitterness as the case may be. Meeting and separation are two forms of friendship that contain the same good, in the one case through pleasure and in the other through sorrow… Soon there will be distance between us. Let us love this distance which is wholly woven of friendship, for those who do not love each other are not separated.

Love with a Curious one

“Don’t fall in love with a curious one. They will want to know who you are, where you come from, what your family was like. They will look through your photographs and read all of your poems. They will come over for dinner and speak to your mother about how their curiosity has taught them things of use to her. They will ask you to rant when you’re angry and cry when you’re hurt. They will ask what that raised eyebrow meant. They will want to know your favorite food, your favorite color, you favorite person. They will ask why. They will buy that camera you liked, pay attention to that band you love in case there’s a show near by, they will get you the sweater you smiled at once. They’ll learn to cook your favorite meals. The curious people don’t settle for your shell, they want the insides. They want what makes you heavy, what makes you uneasy, what makes you scream for joy, and anger, and heartbreak. Their skin will turn into pages that you learn to pour out your entire being in. Don’t fall in love with the curious one. They won’t let a sigh go unexplained. They will want to know what they did Exactly what they did to make you love them. Year, month, week, day. “What time was it? What did I say? What did I do? How did you feel?” Don’t fall in love with a curious one because I’ve been there. They will unbutton your shirt and read every scar, every mark, every curve.

Aprenderá a cocinar tus comidas favoritas.

I love You

I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close.

-Pablo Neruda

 (Espanol)

-Pablo Neruda

We need to Think

hace falta pensar-Infs

We need to start thinking,

That in this world houses are abundant, but we lack homes. That lies are exhibited with a flavoring of truth. That without a doubt he who knows how to fight, who doesn’t poison, who doesn’t allow anything or anyone to stain him, is strong. That in every corner of the world there is a soul, looking for its place, and we run automatically, thinking of working, working, working, to have some to spend.

People from the city aren’t that bad, they are just people who don’t know what it is to vibrate. That liberty makes governments tremble, and that within us lies the possibility for change.

That we can’t let hope perish. That we can be happy, really truly happy. That’s what i chose to create, my happiness.

That there are many hard sorrows, but heroism exists. That we can’t lose our lives. In this life we have to love, we have to give, the intangibles, we have to move forward.

We need to pause, and start thinking.
