Hard Work and Creation

Great Zen Pencil Illustration to the words of American screenwriter, director, and producer, Shonda Rhimes. Best known as the creator, head writer, executive producer and showrunner of the medical drama television series Grey’s Anatomy. Shonda’s words remind us that Dreams don’t work unless you do.

In your mind lies the birhplace of any creation process. In the dreaming, the thinking, the imagining. Like Swami Vivekananda said when talking about success, “Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life–think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, and every part of your body be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success.”

But in the path towards the success that is accomplishing your dreams there will come a time when you have to put the mental visualization on the back burner, strap on your boots, and get to work. It’s important to visualize your dream, what you think you attract. The law of attraction is as real as the chair i’m sitting on, which I can see and bang my knuckles on. But this cosmic attraction won’t chase you around, it then becomes your responsibility to actively seek it. You have to work your way, day after day after day, towards your goal. Don’t fall into the trap of the wishful thinkers, who think and talk a lot about their dreams, but never inch their way towards them. And it’s not easy to take the dreams out of our heads and manifest them in our reality. Accomplishing our dreams is hard work but we must have faith and conviction and  generate the motivation necessary to carry through with them.  Our dreams can come true but only through hard, dedicated, disciplined WORK. There is no way around this, what you reap is what you sow. So don’t be discouraged, no matter how big the climb. If you don’t attempt the ascent, you’ll never know the thrill of swooshing down the other side. Like always, keep growing, in the light direction.

Whats your arena? Seek it, find it, dare greatly and have the heart and courage to go into it.

Be Strong

se fuerte

Be strong.

Doesn’t matter what your going through… BE STRONG. Nothing is permanent, everything is temporary. Everything will pass, and at some point your life will get better. Don’t get depressed, you make what you want of your days. Take advantage of them. Live them. Laugh, defeat your fears. Cry if you have to, get it all out. But never  give up and fall. In this life, there is no load too big for you to handle.

Kindness

It is a bit embarrassing to have been concerned with the human problem all one’s life and find at the end that one has no more to offer by way of advice than to be a little kinder

-Aldous Huxley

Buongiorno Principessa

bongiorno principessa

Good morning, princess! I dreamed of you all night! We went to the movies and you had on that red dress I like so much. I only think of you, princess! Always think of you!

-Roberto Benigni, Life is Beautiful.

Persist and Persevere

We need to Think

hace falta pensar-Infs

We need to start thinking,

That in this world houses are abundant, but we lack homes. That lies are exhibited with a flavoring of truth. That without a doubt he who knows how to fight, who doesn’t poison, who doesn’t allow anything or anyone to stain him, is strong. That in every corner of the world there is a soul, looking for its place, and we run automatically, thinking of working, working, working, to have some to spend.

People from the city aren’t that bad, they are just people who don’t know what it is to vibrate. That liberty makes governments tremble, and that within us lies the possibility for change.

That we can’t let hope perish. That we can be happy, really truly happy. That’s what i chose to create, my happiness.

That there are many hard sorrows, but heroism exists. That we can’t lose our lives. In this life we have to love, we have to give, the intangibles, we have to move forward.

We need to pause, and start thinking.

In the world there are nearly seventy thousand million people. But none like you. It is possible that someone resembles you in body structure, in the way you walk, in the tone of your voice, the way you laugh, the color of your eyes. I’m sure that someone has told you: “I confused you for….”, or “you look a lot like…..”. But you are different than the rest. You are unique and unrepeatable. You are you. Yours are your dreams and fears, the feelings that shudder your heart, its most intimate beats, the laugh that fills your eyes and jumps like a torrent from your chest. Human beings are not made in series, nor are we anybody’s copy. Because you are unique and unrepeatable you are neither superior nor inferior than anybody. You are you. You have to dare to be you. Your history is yours, with its moments of joy and pain, with its miseries and wonders, with its triumphs and defeats. Your present and your future belong to you. Nobody will decide for you, nobody should live your life for you. You will be what you decide to be. You are today, the father or mother of the man or woman you will be tomorrow. In your hands is the possibility to live life in a superficial, hollow and even destructive way. Or, of living it in a profound way, marking a trail and leaving footprints. You can live life drowning it, suffocating it, making others suffer. Or, you can live defending life, giving happiness and feeding hearts. You can live promoting affection and love, or live promoting fear and hate. You can contribute so the world becomes a better place or help make it worst. It depends on you what is said and will be said of you, how you will be remembered. You can be that friend, that neighbor, that son, that father, that mother that you wish you had.
